We start the new year with a great and warm red, Fratelli Vogadori Raffaello. It is made with the same vinification technique of Amarone, drying out grapes for 4/5 months before crushing and fermentation happening in stainless steel tanks. It is then aged in cherry oaks for 6/8 months. The result is a wine fruit-focused with notes of black overriped cherries and dried figs bonded with smoked quince. Floral notes on the nose, mainly dry rose petals. We like to match with spiced gamey meat and black peppered cheeses. Enjoy!!
